An Ancient Egyptian Poem

This love is as good
as oil and honey to the throat,
as linen to the body,
as fine garments to the gods,
as incense to worshippers
when they enter in,
as the little seal-ring
to my finger.

It is like a ripe pear
in a man's hand,
it is like the dates
we mix with wine,
it is like the seeds
the baker adds to bread.

Self Identity Ho'oponopono

The commitment to take personal responsibility for everything in my life has been hugely empowering. I struggled with this concept until I first heard about Dr. Len and Ho'oponopono. Then, while sifting through the resources in lesson 3, I found the article, Who's in Charge?, on the hooponopono.org web site. Reading this article really brought it all home for me.

The Akashic Lord's Prayer

The origins of this are unknown to me, it was sent long ago by a mentor/friend. I find it very powerful in my own practices and so I am lead to share it with you.

The Akashic Lord's Prayer

I AM the Mother-Father principle in ALL Creation

Hallowed is the name I AM

I AM the Kingdom come

I AM Will being done

Coffeehouse Encounter

This morning we arrived at one of our favorite coffeehouses, to find a lady setting up a display of beautiful, handmade jewelry from Jinja, Uganda. Her name is Joy and she filled the entire room with joy just by being present. This is a long story and I truly want to do it justice. Can someone tell me where I should put it on this site?

Soul Rock

I would love to share this little story with you.   Thank you for looking!  at one's individuality; at collctive consciousness; at the evolving universe!

There is a tale which is quite well known and popular among many students of spiritual masters.

The tale - I believe - originated from the mighty East.

WISCONSIN WINTER WONDERLAND

Yesterday, December 11, 2007, had a very ominous beginning. We were getting rain, sleet and snow. All of that on top of the 8 inches of snow already on the ground. We like to begin our days meeting friends in local coffeehouses, but these country people decided not to give it a try. That was a large part of the "ominous beginning".

FRIENDSHIP

I would like to say hello to everyone, using the words of my father. He wrote most of his poetry in the 40s and 50s.

FRIENDSHIP by Maxwell Hatcher Milton

Just a word in friendship spoken,
Just a bright and happy smile,
Just a cheery happy greeting
Helps to make this life worthwhile.

Just to help a weary brother,
Just to cheer him when he's blue,
Just to lighten up his burden
