"Where's my butt?"

I wanted to share a little lighthearted gratitude to Bob Brown today.

In one of my posts titled “Daily, Ordinary Spirituality”, I asked others to share how they bring their spirituality into their daily lives.   In Bob’s response, I found a little gem that I thought profound and meaningful.  He was talking about remaining present and had these words to say:

Found this priceless gem of an interview (Carla Rueckert, deep channel author of the Law of One sessions) while looking for something else, one of my most productive methods for finding delicious little tidbits, LOL

I am in the process of reading a book called An Autobiography of A Yogi, by Paramhansa Yogananda.  A fascinating read and very insightful into Eastern/Hindu mysticism and metaphysics.

Yogananda's teacher, Guru, master was a yogi by the name Sri Yukteswar and the following excerpt is from his dissertation to Yogananda about the Biblical Adam and Eve story. A very interesting interpretation indeed.

"The Adam and Eve story is incomprehensible to me!" I observed with

Ohhh that it were true, inspiring to say the least

The following is from Mark Huber's GRT-Intel.com website.  It resonates strongly with me, and aligns with so much else I've come across.  It is pretty far out, but would be inspiring even if it were only someone's sweet notion of some romantic hopeful poetic fiction.  I do so hope it is an accurate message of Hope to prepare our hearts and minds for what may be coming shortly...

Anyway

Hi, and good morning.  Something a friend said to me this morning reminded me of this poem, attributed to Mother Theresa, but alternately to Kent Keith.  I just like it.  Hope it makes you smile on this Monday morning.

Mother Teresa's Anyway Poem

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
