Hi, and good morning.  Something a friend said to me this morning reminded me of this poem, attributed to Mother Theresa, but alternately to Kent Keith.  I just like it.  Hope it makes you smile on this Monday morning.

Mother Teresa's Anyway Poem

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

Much love and light to each of you!

Thank you Kathy! This is like a message you send to future you. When I was 18 I was sitting on my front stoop, guitar on my knee and the late afternoon spring sun was warming my body and heart. I knew my future self would have low times and I decided to remember that moment as a message to be happy. For some reason this just brought back that lost memory.

I'll tell you, Brian, if I was as aware as you were at 18... lol... things would have been a lot different!  :)

What a smart and beautiful idea!  I've often sent my younger self energy and love, but not my older self.  I'm going to try that today in meditation.

Much love and light to you,

"I've often sent my younger self energy and love"

That really got me Kathy! I immediately teared right up (proof it's right and true).
 Isn't it sweet to feel you can love and cradle your past self with compassion?

I went to a seminar to learn Remote Viewing with Dr. Russell Targ this weekend and one of the things he said blew peoples minds (he's a physicist and psi researcher). He was asked if you can change the past. He said you can't change the past but you can effect the past. He gave a hypothetical example:

Dr. Targ had a young friend who worked in the same lab in Colorado who liked to ski. His friend announced Friday he was going to ski at a certain resort on Saturday. On Saturday afternoon Dr. Targ heard there'd been an avalanche and deaths (they hadn't released names yet). So he immediately closed his eyes and said "Billy, this is Russell and it's Saturday afternoon. There is an avalanche at the resort this morning and you must not go there or you will be killed".  When he next saw Billy he said " I was afraid the avalanche conditions were bad and I decided not to go skiing this weekend"...

I knew this was right as soon as he said it.
I had some kind of spirit awakening in '08 and soon became aware that every dream I had hoped would come true- but as an adult decided never could- had come true. I made a list (I just looked at it now and counted 47) -all of the most important dreams I ever wanted to come true, have come true. The interesting thing I got was that this "happened" because I never really gave up in my heart of hearts-my child heart. Talk about a happy revelation! Holy cow!

I just realized something this moment-this whole thing started with an experience I had in about 1989 or so! I and my now ex. were stargazing on the beach in NC. To my amazement, a red glowing triangle flew smoothly over us.  Even though I quickly discounted it, that introduced the first crack in the armor of total skepticism.
