Hi, everyone!

I hope you're all doing well, and that spring is sprung in your part of the world - or fall is giving respite from the heat, for the folks down under. 

I'm writing tonight because I'm slogging through a lot of tough emotional stuff and wondered how everyone else is doing.  And if my slogging makes you feel less alone, than that's a good thing, too.

Today, an email mysteriously appeared in my inbox from someone I don't know.  It is an announcement for the upcoming Pay It Forward Day for Thursday, April 28, 2011.

The idea is simple.  Do something nice for 1-3 people and ask them to pay it forward to someone else.  Printable cards are available on the website to facilitate this process.  Please feel free to share any ideas and experiences you have, here.

When I see statements about how important it is to return to a purely capitalist economic system, I just have to respond. I suspect that the lack of historical knowledge is leading us once again into an era that we overcame about a hundred years ago, but which is being forgotten. As Santayana said, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

As we are taught that all of the chaos in the world serves to clear negative energy and karma from the collective, and that the same is true in our individual lives: then; I must be moving the right way toward ascenscion. In the last few years since I began my search for truth and since declaring my intent to ascend, my life has been quite chaotic. The past two years have been particularly hard and the last week has been a real bear! Very trying but I endeavor to apply the things that I have learned and keep these events in context. Nobody ever said it would be easy.
