Awakening the Dreamer - A Global Movement

A powerful movement is forming through the Pachamama Alliance. Don't miss the inspiring 12-minute video about true collaboration between those in the modern world and the indigenious peoples with their Earth wisdom. We can make a difference!

Howdy all, My wife and I have been living fulltime in our RV for 19 years now. We have been experiencing nature first hand for most of this time while sometimes venturing back into the masses and city life. Nature, according to Tolle, is one of the easiest ways to be in the NOW moment. Living life fully in the NOW moment and wholly immersed in a natural environment is certainly a most transformative experience.

We can give an example of the change in consciousness that exists between rural living and city living. For most of the year we live in rural high desert (4500 ft) 30 miles north of Reno, NV. Winters here are too cold for us in our RV, so we migrate to Southern California to be near our children and grand children. Our trip south each November is very peaceful for the most part, until we reach Mojave, CA. The energy begins to change here to a more frantic, swirling and chaotic energy. As we continue on toward the masses of people, this energy intensifies and we leave behind the calm beautiful vibrations we are so used to in the natural environment of Northern Nevada. The first thing we notice is that the drivers are in such a hurry to get to wherever they are going. Speeds increase, the roadways become high speed freeways, and the norm is driving 85 in a 65.

This clip about the Pachamama Alliance is truly inspiring to me. The indigenous people are teaching the modern world about the value of Nature which in turn is truly an opportunity to transform our consciousness from chaotic to a more balanced vibration. Thank you so much Fred for posting this video..

What a wonderful life you and your wife live, Bryce! My family took one month vacations car camping and traveling to the  rich and varied national parks and other areas of natural beauty around the U.S. every year when I was growing up. I so loved visiting exploring and contemplating in the great outdoors. As I spend most of my days on a computer indoors these days, I'm envious of you. Maybe some day I'll be able to arrange for a rendezvous with you at some beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing of the richness of your life.

With much love and joy,

Fred

First time I heard of the Pachamama Alliance was through John Perkins, author of "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" and "Secret History of the American Empire".  John has been working with the indigenious of South America since his days in the Peace Corp.  He ran into the Dalai Lama in the airport a while back and they had a chance to talk while waiting for their connecting flights.  The Dalai just happened to be carrying one of John's books at the time.  Anyway, John asked the Dalai, "What's to become of the spiritual authority that has resided in Tibet for so long, since you say you are the 14th and last?"  Dalai told him that he believes the mantle of that spiritual authority is shifting to South America.

I know I've told that story before, but I just had to tell it again in the context of the Pachamama Alliance post......

Living, Loving and Laughing as if "One" is all there is,

Greetings Fred,

That is a powerful video  about a long overdue subject... the difference between the Euro- Judeo-Christian philosophy of I am not from here...this whole world is mine to do as I please...it belongs to me!

And the Native American philosophy of ...the Earth is my mother...what I do to her, I do to myself...I belong to it !

I just finished the above named book...How It Is...and it gave me great insight as to the REAL dilemna...changing the mindset of the masses...

as usual I started thinking of how it would have been.....how would it have been  when the invaders from Europe arrived on American shores...if they had adopted the philosophy of the indigenous peoples they met...instead of forcing their ideas upon the natives....think on that a moment...we could have recreated Edin !!

Anyway the book reflects the ideals of the Pachamamma Alliance and is quite a good read....it changed me a little...and that is what I'm always after...""MORE INPUT""

Blessings

My first glimpse of the spontaneous aspect of this worldwide movement was when I watched the documentary, "Fourth World War".

Much like the "Zapatistas" documentary, but featured many other similar movements from all over the world.
