The Great Intention: We are the Ones We've Been Waiting For

Each day, we are painfully aware of what's wrong with the world.  Often the more we know, the more helpless we feel to do anything about it.  "What can I possibly do?" you may ask.  There is much you can do.  Remember you are a co-creator here, a hologram of Source, and with that knowledge comes great power.

I think it was Starr who recently posted a request for Gathering Spot members to come together for scheduled group intention sessions (though I can't find the original post).  There is documented evidence that group meditations, prayer, visualizations, etc. can affect our physical reality.  I believe such effort is our single greatest tool for healing a world that appears to be spiralling out of control.

Groups which meet weekly with the intention of creating peace and love on this planet already exist, so it is not necessary to reinvent the wheel.  I have been meditating on Sunday with  (It's difficult to find the info about it on their website, so if you're interested, drop me a line and I'll send it to you.)

There is another group which comes together on Saturdays, 10pm Greenwich Mean Time, which is 5pm Eastern, 2pm Pacific.  (See the World Clock for times:  The weekly gathering is called the Great Intention.  It operates a little differently than most other such groups.  Online participants are asked not to pray for peace, but to feel the peace, deep in the core of their being as if it has already occurred on earth.  The distinction is subtle, but significant.

Also stressed is the assumption that it only takes the square root of 1% of the earth's population to shift the consciousness of the entire planet.  You may have heard this before, but did you know that that number is only 8,366 people?  We can do that!

If you really want peace on this planet, if you really want to see life change for the better, then it's time to do your part to bring it about.  I suggest you forward the information from the following website to people in your email address book, post it on other forums, tell people in other groups, churches, etc. or organize a group in your neighborhood.  Tell people that a platform exists where each of us can participate to bring about the change we seek... and it only takes a few minutes a week to do it.  Please mark it on your calendar and join us in global intention for peace.  The world needs you.  We are the ones we've been waiting for.

The Experiment

Starting on Saturday April 11 2009, many people around the world began to conduct a peaceful intention for mankind and for the planet.

The results have been felt by all who have participated and the awakening I have seen occurring around the globe is noticeable.

We are making a difference.

We at would like to continue to organize as many people around the world as possible to simultaneously spend one hour each week in a state of peace and love and to continue and to expand this intention.

What people need to do in order to participate is to spend that time feeling the peace in the world. This is very different to doing something like praying "for" peace or praying externally. What is needed is to place yourself in the emotional state where the prayer has already been answered and the peace we are striving for has already been achieved. The aim is to visualize and to feel the peace, love and prosperity in the world; the love and unity between all of mankind, the joy and abundance for all and the health and vitality of ourselves, of each other and of this wonderful planet.

The intention commenced on Saturday April 11 at 10 pm Greenwich Mean Time and still continues at the same time each week. Check the above clock to be sure you are participating at the correct time.

This experiment is still ongoing so it doesn't matter if you have seen this message late, you are still able to participate at any time.

Please spread this information to all you can in order to gain as many more participants as possible for these continued events.

I forgot that I already posted this awhile back.

I have more of a sense of urgency these days about the importance of such work.
