Here is a most wonderful YouTube video featuring the beautiful hypnotic voice of Snatam Kaur singing the Mul Mantra. It is 8 minutes of pure spiritual refreshment and renewal. Peace be with you!

Beautiful!

I don't know which is more beautiful... her voice or the graphics.  I especially like the heart over the Middle East, and also all the hands.

Thanks for sharing such beauty.

WOW!

Holy cow - this woman's voice is a direct connection to GOD. Thanks Chuck for bringing this to the forum. We get a lot of dark updates on here - and it is great to see someone like her out there just shining so brightly. I had to listen to it twice - three times actually as there is another version with a different video that lets you read what she is saying as she sings it. I got the album - it's Anand Bliss. Can't wait to put it through the big speakers and have it fill up the space!

Glad y'all enjoyed it!

Glad y'all enjoyed it. How is the rest of the album, Jeff? Just as good?

I heard from a friend that Kaur comes to the Grass Valley/Nevada City area occasionally, so I may get to hear her in person sometime.

Awesome Album

Yeah - the album is excellent - just so beautiful. I would love to hear her in person - and I bet she gets to Portland too, so I hope I hear about it when she comes. Get the album, light some incense and turn it up!

Meaning of the words

Here's a website where the words are explained in detail:

http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Mool_Mantar

It really enhances the beauty of the song to have a deeper understanding of the meaning, which seems to be a genuinely universal praise of God's beauty.

Thanks

for posting this. Beautiful voice and melody. "The peace we seek comes from us." Very insightful.

If we only knew what Illusion is, we would then know the opposite: what Truth is. This Truth would liberate us from slavery.

I had the same experience

I had the same experience when I stumbled upon her about a year ago (I posted 4 or 5 of her best here, but it is buried somewhere in the past archives).  I ended up ordering Grace, Anand, Shanti, Prem and Mother's Blessing (the one she sings with her mother)...

Good to see her appear again Chuck...
