Can you imagine what a foreigner must think when first coming to America - particularly from someplace like Saigon? We sit at the light and wait - often when no one else is even coming through the intersection - and if we "violate" the light - we get a fine! They must think we are NUTS. Oh - wait a minute - THIS IS NUTS...

France has few traffic lights. They're big on roundabouts here... quite efficient, actually.
