One Million Minutes for Peace

I know this probably will be posted a bit too late for most, but in honor of International Peace Day, there is a world wide call for a minute of silence at noon local time.  Within the silence, focus your attention on what peace in our time would look like.

Note that this will be observed on the hour for many, many hours, so if you missed noon, just jump in with the next time zone's observance.

My understanding is that there are at least 127 countries involved and countless people.

Peace be with you.

That is the best description of true authentic sacred Peace I have ever come across.  It is a quote from James Twyman's book, Emissary of Light, his real life journey into the war torn Balkans during the Serbian uprising, where he met the very secretive group of Emissaries that were meditating on behalf of the whole planet in a remote region on the border of Croatia and Bosnia.

To this day, one of the most inspiring reads concerning true peace I have ever had the privilege and pleasure of reading.  The head emissary James called the "Teacher" framed the word Peace that way during one of his discussions with James and it brought me to unexpected tears it so resonated with authenticity so deep down inside where sacred authenticity eternally resides...

Lasting Peace is not something to achieve, but to recognise, for if it is truly lasting, than it already exists and can never not be, only not recognised for what it already is, Peace with no viable authentic opposite.  The rest is games of illusory rationalization that bury us in individual and collective layers of unauthentic bullcrapolapalooza, all of which will ultimately be surrendered, abandoned, leaving what was always and ever there, this Sacred Inviolate Peace with no opposite, the true nature of the original Thought.....

It is now noon here, so I hold the whole planet in this authentic thought right now, Love, Light, and Peace with no opposite...  Ohhhmmmonnnnaaahhhh

James Twyman, something i enjoy as part of my practices is James Twyman's 12 Prayers cd.  Adaptations of peace prayers from 12 religions, it is a beautiful 54 minutes to use while sauna-ing, driving, or just cooling out while working in the kitchen.

Shanti...Shanti....Shanti....Peace....peace....peace.
