Music that Inspired me

Many of you I have come to know as gentle and open people-that you feel things and fantasize and dream such beautiful dreams. I spent my teens (and before and after) dreaming a lot and wanting the world to be so much more for all of us. I didn't know you yet but I know now that we were already linked in a powerful environment of loving and caring hearts-for the Earth, all life and ourselves. We were already one but we hadn't talked or reached out to each other yet in the conventional ways of life. This technology is allowing us to find each other...I'm so glad to have met all of you-my old friends I didn't even know I had! I know this is maybe a bit spacey for some people but that's my place I feel most at home. In a place of comfortable fantasy that is a world of great peace and pure love. But sometimes I've felt it and seen it in the now-not as an abstract of imagination, but as a genuine reality. I mean the pure love we all have for each other but which is normally disguised by our preoccupations with ego-driven concerns in a kind of never-ending soap opera. We are actually constantly saying "I love you" in every moment of our lives but we can't see it. So I have these two worlds: a world of peace and love that is a fantasy I guess, and then a "real" world I secretly know is nothing but those things. Funny.

In celebration of our imagination and fantasy(and the real thing) I just wanted to share a song from a favorite album by Jon Anderson of the group Yes. He made this solo album masterpiece in a once in a lifetime effort. The album is called Olias Of Sunhillow and the song is called "To the Runner" You can find some more of the songs from Olias on YouTube or buy the album. If you like this song you'll like the whole album. Here's a "video" of the song.  A long time ago, this music connected me to you. Peace-Brian

Brian I choose to join you in your fantasy land, what a beautiful place to hang out.  I could feel the peace and the connection, it was very powerful; I need to feel safe with friends right now.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I am blessed to have you, and everyone on this site, keeping me company while a walk along my path.  It feels good knowing you are there in our shared dream world. :) Thanks for inviting me.

hugs valx

I Bless your Hearts with Love!  Such a wonderful addition, Brian--- Very Timely... as 8/8 stargate opening and the Sirius Alignment is upon us all!

Telepathy begins with the tool of imagination.  First we must create the connection --- then send that connection outward--- and at the same time we are creating--- the other is creating the same connection... this is how transpersonal communication begins... With the idea that is anchored into "reality"--- Music is a GREAT way to prime this connection!

I am so happy that all are reaching out with thier HEARTS--- I feel and sometimes hear many of you!

I believe that what you are calling fantasy--- is simply a NEW WAY that is being created Now.  Such beauty!

Love--

This again reminds me of being on the other side of the mirror without being aware that we've crossed over.  All our lives most of us have been told, "stop daydreaming and join us here in the real world!".  This would be someone barking out the lie they have been sold.  So when it comes from an "adult" authority figure, it must be authentic, right?  WRONG!!!!

We have been lied to, the most hideous form of lies.  These are lies that come from people not knowing they are lying.  It has always been our imaginations of our right brains that are just as important as any "rational" "logical" notion coming in from the conditioned left brain.  The right brain cannot be conditioned, only quelled for a "spell".

It is the logistics oriented left brain that can be conditioned, and therefore fooled into believing that it is very irresponsible to entertain the illogical nonsensical fantasy-laden imagination of the right brain, and yet that is where the heart and soul of true creativity and true power actually resides.

The left brain is for navigation and for facilitating that inherent divine creative power!!!  So one might say that the ego of humanity has gotten the cart before the horse.  The left brain serves the right brain, not the other way around where we end up not knowing we have crossed over to the other side of the mirror and temporary collective insanity of humanity...

May the lie be cast aside, the daydreamer once again honored!!!

Thank you Brian, the music reminded me of Steve Winwood, Peter Gabriel and YES

Beautiful, love the graphics and scenery besides the music.

Thanks Brian.

Hey,

Just somethimg I found interesting about the left/right brain thing....we spend an hour and a half with "right" side dominant and then our internal clock switches us to the other side...left...for another hour and a half and then...switch again....

You can learn to control and feel where you are and it takes a deep connection/unity of body and mind to be able to do that....

Thanks again, Brian.  What good stuff!

I heard a new Robert Plant (formerly of Led Zeppelin) song on the radio this morning, and was thinking about the many singers, and bands of our youth and how they have evolved and changed over the years.  Sometimes the change comes from necessity - voices change as we age.  But I would say that most of the new music coming out of our favorites from our youth is richer and dare I say, more evolved.  :)

Yes were (was?) ahead of their (its'? lol ) time, but there is a beauty and serenity to these newer songs from Andersen that reflects a different level of being.

Thank you from sharing!

Lots of love,

Kathy

I like this little song because it's beautiful and because it rings in my head for days. I think he wrote it for his woman who is sick. Sometimes she has better days. That is kind of romantic to think of having your significant other appreciate you like that.
P.S to fairyfarmgirl-I just knew you'd like that last one by Jon Anderson...

Brian, thank you!
