Hope this link works - Berry I feel for you, this is my third attemp to post this important film. Our unsustainable monetary system is the root cause of our lack of control over our governments, most of the wars in the world, the poverty in the world and the slavery type world we live in today. This film is so important, I hope you will all take the time to watch it but if time is scarse, watch parts 9-11 for the solutions offered.

I too learned a few things. For the longest time I used to think the gold standard was the way to go, that we needed something tangible to back our money, but as he clearly stated, "It's not what backs our money, it's who controls it's quantity." Excellent point that makes a hell of a lot of sense. I also liked their plan for a new banking system where after a certain agreed upon amount of money is printed and pumped into the system (of course after we eradicate the current debt-based system) the banks then had to possess the actual money before they could loan the money out.
Every single dollar floating around right now is part of our national debt - what was it Ford said to Edison, and I paraphrase, "I'm glad the people can't figure out the way our money system operates because if they could I'm sure we'd have a revolution on our hands before morning."
The commentator made a irrefutable case for throwing out the system NOW!
Also appreciated the Oz symbolism (though many of his fans deny it).

The current monetary system will not change easily, and to try and replace with a further system will not work either.
The reality is, we are trapped, or at least sometimes feel trapped in the current paradigm. For anything to change we must change first, higher vibrations it what we need, and it starts with us and all those like us....
Why are we searching, asking, looking, seeking, when really all we should be doing is looking inside ourselves, lift our vibrations, lift our thoughts, lift our hearts to the Divine. Look within and find the wisdom, there is no need to search elsewhere, the truth is within just open up and listen to the voice within.
Maybe this is easy for me to say from where I sit and am, yet believe me when I say from my Light to yours.........Stop searching. For the truth is within - not without...... look not to others, look inside, I am sure you know what I mean here.
I say this to you all not just this post and I say it knowing we all hold the truth within.. Be still, be quiet, let your light shine. Lift those vibrations, lift to the Divine in us all, lift and all will be as all will be. Still quiet in reflection of knowledge within

Yes, I know when we all look within, our sponsorship of the corporate system will just naturally fall away, we will all find ways to do without or barter or do what have you without paying money to "the Man". Either way, the current system is unsustainable and will soon collapse.
As far as the gold standard goes, I'm still a bit up in the air about that - I'd love to see a debate between Ron Paul/Edward G. Griffin and Bill Still/Ellen Brown about that. I think all these people have good intentions, the difference seems to be in whether or not you place your trust in government. I think the important feature of any of these plans is that competing private currencies be legalized so that if the government money does become inflationary, people can still legally use, including paying their taxes with gold/silver or other currencies, such as the silver backed liberty dollar. Poor Van Nothaus is in jail now (founder of the liberty dollar) for some trumpted up charges of counterfeit, etc. - I'm not exactly sure of the details but he is no counterfeiter - he's just created a way to easily barter using silver backed paper money - anyone looking at a liberty dollar would immediately realize that it isn't a Federal reserve note. Talk about a threat to the Federal reserve system - money that can never inflate and can easily be exchanged via the internet, paper or solid silver - they are looking for any excuse possible to put this forward thinker in jail.
It isn't mentioned in this film but I think this debt based system is also the root cause of our environmental woes. Everyone is running around like a chicken with their head cut off to pay off interest on debt that can only be created by increased productivity - hence the system forces unsustainability because we always have to produce more to come up with the interest, besides pay off the initial loan. This is covered better in the film "Money as Debt".

Oh yea, if the sound doesn't work, try playing with the video volume control - I found that I had to adjust that every time to get the sound to work.
