This song and video really hit me when I began a search for it when the music kept popping into my head a few months ago. I didn't know why, as I hadn't heard it in ages and I knew it was an old song. To be honest, it was popular when I was a teenager and I didn't pay that much attention to it at the time. Well, it wouldn't leave me alone and kept popping up until I searched for the lyrics and video. This was the first video I found and watched and it floored me. To me, the words and pictures (planets, galaxies, the grid, different nationalities) all point to hope to a new and better way of life with peace and unity.

I have always loved that song from the West Side Story days. Streisand's version of it is absolutely the best!!! Thanks so much, Laurette for finding this most awesome video of the song. I got goosebumps while watching and listening. I just love it!
