A weekend retreat with Orest Bedrij.
At the end of the first week in June I was very honored to be invited to attend a weekend retreat at the Holy Cross Monastary on the Hudson River in upstate New York. I had attended a similar retreat last October and it had changed my life and my understanding of Creation, God and my place in the universe. Amoung the requirements for attendance were that you had to have read CELEBRATE YOUR DIVINITY by Orest Bedrij, attended the first retreat, and be recommended by one of the close friends of Oreat Bedrij.the author and renowned scientist. Those of you who have read the works of David R. Hawkins ( The Eye of the I) will understand when I say that everyone invited has to calibrate above 300, and many of those attending calibrate above 450 to 600 (Illumination).
Orest is a very quiet, low keyed scientist who shuns any public attention and is usually only comfortable with small groups of fellow scientists. Most of this group had also read the Lynne McTaggert books, and more recently, Gregg Braden's books, THE DEVINE MATRIX, and THE SPONTANEOUS HEALING OF BELIEF.Few of us would be able to follow Orest if and when he used graphs and equations to explain his ideas. As he himself says, Orest thinks and speaks in math and physics. but there were others in the group who could ask the questions and get the answers we could understand.
What was the purpose of this retreat?. To get Orest to discuss his books, the books that show that the study of science and spirituality both lead to the same conclusion, We, all of us, everything, are of the same energy as God! We are all of one source! Celebrate Your Divinity is filled with the wisdom of all ages, locations, religions and beliefs. It contains some of the most beautiful thoughts ever recorded ,only with Orest's guidance, we see them in a new light. It took Orest seven years to write the book, but it took him 20 years to gather the material. It was only with the newest advances in quantum physics that science found the proof he needed. I read that book slowly, three times, underlining key thoughts and phrases.Each time I used a different color and understood more. When it finally hit me, when I grasped what he had proven I felt like I had when my son was born! My heart was pounding, I had tears in my eyes., I am of God, I am not some piddly little speck of atoms that appears and disappears quickly, my soul is the same energy as God! I have value, I have a purpose, I am timeless. I create this life and my world with my thoughts, beliefs and emotions. The more Christlike I can live my daily life, the more I can access my divine core.
For two days we meditated, prayed, and practiced raising our energy levels. We learned how to direct this energy towards healing the earth, ourselves and each other. At times the energy in that room was so high that my hands got hot, my heart chakra was buzzing and I was floating with love and joy. This is what I've been looking for all my adult life.
Most people I meet would have no idea as to what I'm talking about,but I feel that the Transformation Team will understand perfectly. and I felt compelled to share this with you.

Like you, I have studied most of Dr. David Hawkins's books and also read The Divine Matrix of Gregg Braden, but I never heard of Orest Bedrig.
You encourage me to read his book "Celebrate your divinity". If you have read it three times, you must have discovered a new level of awareness. Can you share more about his teaching and his being?
I imagine that being in contact with people with high level of energy is an uplifting experience.

I too have not heard of Orest before today, so thank you-I am always looking for another view, another way, to share what our understanding is with those that have not yet come to it. Sounds like a wonderful retreat, Jim! Thank you for sharing your experiences. I actually live about 5 miles from Holy Cross, and know what a beautiful place it is - and so filled with its own wonderful energy.

This was a while ago that you posted this, but feels brand new again since showing up at the front of list. So I will say thank you to Denise, Kristyne and Kathy for resurrecting this most excellent forum post from almost exactly one year to date! It is a great check point, before and after type feeling with this since so many of us have continued to grow in this developing understanding of exactly what being One truly means.
One thing I am absolutely sure of now, and it is as it should be, is that it is virtually impossible to describe the secret place that is beyond all words, symbols, description. I love knowing that. There is a wonderful liberty to understanding that, and allowing it to be just that. Back to what we can delve into and discover for the sake of further appreciation, re-cognition and understanding. That book called Souls of Distortion Awakening has all of that "new science" displayed perfectly in it as it tells a story that decisively reveals the truth that the ancients knew all of this and more, and are now being verified and affirmed by so called modern day science. This completely shatters the illusion that we are now at the apex of scientific discovery, and this is a good thing, for how in the world could we really be alone if we are simply catching up with knowledge that is already present, that is simply being confirmed at a later date?
We have never been alone, and we are not moving on a linear path as has been thought by left-brain dominated science. Three cheers to the reintroduction of the intuitive creative subjective female energy that has been stifled for far too long, but is simply part of an ongoing mathematical equation of yin and yang, this and that, positive and negative, the dynamic experience surrounding the balanced ground state of our soul-full infinite existence. So be it so be it, yes, so be it, and let it be....

It's so funny that I looked at this and assumed it was brand new (almost exactly 1 year later). I guess Jim's status along with some updated discussion on the topic made me think it just happened. Chock it up to time being an illusion : )
I did go and read about the book, and ended up buying it, based on Jim's excellent review of the work being done. I have to admit that I'm more of a "spirit girl" than a "science girl", so I'm hoping his strong physics background doesn't leave me in the dust.
I hope everyone's doing well - it seems a bit quiet around here lately...
