I would like to get in touch with someone who knows the prison system well. I'm trying to connect with somebody who's in one and it's really difficult, they put a lot of barriers in the way. Also anybody who knows the ins and outs of the criminal justice system in general, I would love to chat about this person's situation, look for some solutions.

Our criminal justice system is aptly named. It is indeed criminal. I participated in Chuck Colson's Prison Ministry for several years during the 80s. It was an eye-opener in many ways. If you can conform to their many requirements, volunteering for a prision ministry is a good way to get a look inside.
