Prayer request for myself
I have a personal request for your support because I am going in for a job interview very soon-sometime between right away and the weekend I presume. It would mean the world to get and keep this job so I can make enough money to stay here near my 3 kids rather than move away to another state to live with my brother far away. I ask for your prayers to help me get this job right away and that it work out wonderfully as long as I need it to. This is probably my last chance to stay here in my home because I have run out of time and money.

And in addition I'll share something with you. My daughter recently had to negotiate a sensitive issue with her boss. She asked me what to do, as she knew she often didn't stand up for herself, and let other people run their programs on her. I told her to identify and feel the person she wants to be -- and that she knows is in her -- before the interview. Not to rehearse lines, but just feel that person, become her, and the rest would take care of itself. And it did. The meeting went well. She maintained her dignity and self-respect, said all that she had to say, and made the impression of being grounded and quietly self-assured -- which indeed she was.
