 John,

Thanks for posting that information. I had just received a copy of it and was trying to get some of my buddies to check it out before I shared it with TT.. Very scary stuff. The Vally of the Moon in Panama is looking more and more inviting.

been lots of discussion in the media and on C-Span lately concerning evacuation plans from densely populated big cities lately, not to mention the first lady pushing awareness of "ready.gov" recently.  What's cookin'?

Could it be in preparation for another false-flag terrorist attack - similar to 9/11?  I read that Bush plans to attack Iran before his term ends.  I've got a feeling it is going to be in retaliation for a (false-flag) terrorist attack.

I think you may be right David, as do quite a few on the TT portal.  Gonna be one of the more interesting political seasons for the next few months because there is rarely an administration so far gone as this one and I have a feeling that Bush and Cheney may be a bit worried about possible war criminal charges after they leave office.  Should have heard Vincent Bugliosi talking about his latest book, "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder" on C-Span over the weekend. And Cheney has been acting real paranoid lately.  All of this still reads like some Kurt Vonnegut Jr. novel in strange Vonnegut form, but this one is non-fiction.

Of all the possible false flag scenarios, one just might be taking out Bush sometime either before or shortly after his leaving office.  I have such a hard time imagining him running loose after his presidency.  He can be nothing but trouble later for those who propped him up as GOP puppet du jour for two devastating terms.....

In any case, should be very interesting from here on out......

In any case, do you have any thoughts about the ongoing balancing act of staying informed while knowing that the other best tool (maybe THE best) in our tool bags is to learn not to go negative and depressed and futilistic or mad or angry, but remain sober and very confident of what is really and truly and always real about Life in and throughout this universe/omniverse - the marriage of the big picture cosmic view and the "down to earth" view of day to day "apparent" reality so to speak.....

any philosophical thoughts about the art of juggling those two paradigms???

below is the first 2 of 4 messages from the Pleiadians on youtube that address the juggling act quite well I think.

let me know what you think.....

quote from part 2: "the real people in power are never on TV,

and they are elected from their own family members"

another very beautiful and inspiring quote from part 2:

"imagine a world without violence,

without military, without politicians,

or sanctimonious priests,

without superstition, without belief systems and without lies.

imagine a world where only love rules,

where everybody has everything they need,

where knowledge is available for everybody

and the contact to a higher-evolved planet is a natural thing."

"you have to build this strong inner wish to live in such a world"

"The more people can imagine and send these thoughts, the easier

you can steer the evolution of this planet in a positive direction."

Chris, the second quote from part two reminds me of a book I just read called "God is an Atheist" by N. Nossirah and available from Sentient Publications.

The challenge you mention is probably the most difficult one for our times. I cannot count the number of friends I've considered conscious and determined to wake up who have balked at any mention of the shadow and the cover-ups, saying they wanted to remain positive and focus on the light.

A few thoughts have helped me: We absolutely cannot awaken/assend into the light without facing whatever is in our shadow. There is only one us, here, and it includes all of us, even them. This world is an illusion of light and shadow, played out on the empty, nondual screen of awareness--unless I can be and hold it all within the space of awareness in which it is, already, and only, occuring, I cannot be fully embodied here as the one I am. And that is what I want and choose and focus on.

God/Goddess bless us all, every one,

J

Chris,

I just received this quote by email. It aligns with what I was saying:

"Learn to live without self concern. For this you must know your own
true being as indomitable, fearless, ever victorious. Once you know
with absolute certainty that nothing can trouble you but your own
imagination, you come to disregard your desires and fears, concepts and
ideas, and live by truth alone.
"Just realise you are dreaming a dream you call the world and stop
looking for ways out. The dream is not your problem. Your problem is
that you like one part of your dream and not another. Love all or none
of it, and stop complaining. When you have seen the dream as a dream,
you have done all that needs to be done".  Nisargadatta

I hate to resort to using this experience as an example, but it is my most dramatic and demonstrative to date. During age 15-17 I did acid from time to time and absolutely loved it because it forced me to understand definitively that the only thing that can scare you is your imagination and concepts of anything! I am not suggesting that anyone/everyone run out and score some windowpane, but am simply as sure from those experiments as native americans are sure after days in a sweat lodge that that is the absolute truth you speak of and that shadows are only places where light is not hitting at the moment due to avoidance for some reason. The longer the shadow is avoided the stronger the personal fear of shadow seems, but it is one big illusion created by our overactive imaginations. Shadows don't happen to us - they are made by each of us by avoidance of something, and then judgment is the pretty little white picket fence we build around our worldviews to try to keep the shadows, the very shadows we ourselves made, out. The bigger the white picket fence, the scarier becomes the self-inflicted monster of our making that we are in denial about....   once the fence is knocked down and we gladly embrace what we were avoiding and fearing, the light rushes in.  Most have experienced this very experience one or more times in our lives, but continue to get back to building white picket fences - what's with that? is my big question.  We have received answers many time in life, but return to old ways.....

thanks for making that perfect point John!!!!
