Gathering Spot is My Facebook
My generation is pretty hooked on Facebook. My wife is getting better, and I pretty much check it once a month. Honestly though, I check these forums obsessively for new posts.
I'm making this post as an "obsessive compulsive checking for updates website" recommendation post. Here are the other sites I check on at least a daily basis for updates:
www.divinecosmos.com - great site for all kinds of stuff, ET's, New Physics, 2012 stuff and more
www.exopolitics.org - lots of good UFO/Disclosure stuff
www.ninjavideo.net - mostly TV shows, but plenty of excellent documentaries, streamed for free

This site is awesome, but I have to admit that I am one of the facebook addicts that Josh speaks of, and I'm just on there a lot more than I am here. If anyone here is on facebook, please add me! (Andrew Stephen Pratt). I'm trying to hit gathering spot more often these days, but facebook is kind of my general connection to the rest of the world (i.e. the ones that just aren't quite ready for the awesomeness that this place is ;))...

One of my fav things about facebook is that if you get on Fred's list he sends links to all his articles at examiner.com

but i'll admit, when i allow the chaos of the outside world to get me a bit off balance i also find this a truly safe haven! nice to know there's a place like this for us even if it is virtual isnt it. no one said it's easy walking between two worlds! peace be with you Josh-and peace BE. ;)
