I post this with a hearty laugh. It comes from a good place.
This is The Flight of the Conchords, Flipping the Bird at the Australian Embassy.
There is some really excellent Bird Flipping in this Sketch.
Cheers to the Guard, and FotC.

Whats the story Mist!.......
Lol....
thats not very nice!.......but it is a funny vid!........must be set up...no Aussie would hold himself back that much....Lol
Jez
no story really.
i just thought that it was funny and that there was some really creative non verbal communication. I don't see any malice in it.......just flippin the bird....did you see how the guard pulled a bird out of his pocket...and tipped his hat to the lady, then flipped both birds.....perhaps it seems rude....but i'm learning not to get so serious...
Confusion, Aggression, Cryptic Confession. .......
**sigh**
As one of last night's children I am known for being moody;
very positive, polite and pleasant, creative and engaging, and also grumpy, indecisive, sensitive, listless, apathetic and critical.
Rude....is the word that my mother uses. **smile**
When someone flips me the bird....I grin and flip it back. That is what I have learned. To Laugh....it all.....off......
On a rainy day we were driving down the road and I was in the passengers seat of the old blue oldsmoblie. There are deep puddles on the road and In the right lane a truck was slowly coming up to pass us. I push the button that makes the window go up. It goes up......about four inches and slows to a dull creak....and when the truck passes, a large fanspray of water surges into the car and leaves me soaked. Scott is looking at me crazily because I am beaming with laughter......I mean, I found it hilarious.
As soon as the wall of water hit me through the passenger window....my mind went back to a time when i slung mountain dew from a nearly empty can onto my best friend......cause I was pissed off.
And that lead to a thought of that old saying....''karma's a beech.'' Haha....I felt resolved of that old moment and so full of kiddie joy and thankful for the soaking......It was good.
It's all good.
That is why there is no judgement.
It's all good. WE ALL share an elemental composition, a planet, a time.....
But my reality is not your reality.....and your reality is not my reality.
There are few things that I find offensive....only the major things....you know....the truly bad stuff out there.....boogeymen.
I guess that some would look at what I post here just not see the joy that I see in this clip....I didn't feel any anger......just picking......being rude.....getting a rise........................all in good fun.
Fun Fun Fun.......America!! Funny haha.......
sound preachy?? yeah.....I'm always preaching to myself...... :- P
I really am thinking about all of the new stuff that I am learning while here.......
Maybe one day the rubic's cube will clink together and I'll be able to share my understanding.
I'm kneading the bits of knowledge.
My Love goes with you All.
Misty
Hey Mist....
I wasn't offended?......Lol.......I was playin......
I don't think many people in australia would take flippin the bird very serious......
And yeah.......I would have laughed when the water hit you!....Lol......
I'm laughin now!....
You just keep being you, Misty Blue.........
Your very cool!......
Jez
Lilly Tomlin...."I personally think we developed language because of our deep need to complain."
I'll add that flipping the bird is a hysterical view of humanity in its honesty.
I'm sending this to some friends and maybe some foes....?
Love everything about you, Misty
Tricia
