THE AQUARIAN ALIGNMENT, February 14, 2009

We measure our global sense of both space (latitude and longitude) and time (universal time - UT or GMT) from the prime meridian located at Greenwich, England. We can perceive the collective influence of this momentous astrological event (February 14th) by looking at the alignment from this globally centered perspective. When we do, something extraordinary and exquisite emerges.
At dawn on 14th February the day dedicated to St Valentine, the patron saint of Love, the Moon in Libra enters the seventh house of relationships. And Jupiter and Mars are aligned in Aquarius in the twelfth house of spiritual transformation.
Forty years ago, the intuitive words of a song called Aquarius, brought the dawning of the New Age into our collective awareness:
"When the Moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars.
Then peace will guide the planets, and love will steer the stars."
At dawn on 14th February the Cosmos actually embodies this perfect alignment to support our collective manifestation of Love and Peace, and the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.
The Aquarian chart of 14th February reveals an incredible concentration of Cosmic influences blending with the energies of Aquarius in the twelfth house. Expansive Jupiter and energetic Mars are aligned with the higher purpose of the North Node. The presence of Chiron the wounded healer offers us the opportunity to heal the schisms that have separated us for so long. Neptune emphasizes collective humanitarian movements and the co-creation of social justice. And the presence of the radiant Sun enlightens the entire alignment.
Mercury also in the twelfth house but just beyond the cusp in Capricorn, allies with transformational Pluto to communicate and anchor the Shift throughout our global structures and institutions.
The Moon in Libra in the seventh house emphasizes harmonious real -ationships.
Venus in Aries in the first house energizes and empowers dynamic co-creativity.
And whilst Saturn the great task master in opposition to Uranus the unexpected awakener is suggesting an ongoing confrontation as the dregs of the unsustainable old paradigm reluctantly give way to the untested hope of the new, their placements in Virgo and Pisces brings practical altruism and visionary inspiration to the transition.
At 7:25 a.m. on 14th February - and for the 18 minutes of the alignment, I invite you, into the Universal Heart, to add your own intention for Love and Peace, and to co-create the dawning of the Age of Aquarius to that of the Cosmos. Join in whatever way feels appropriate for you. You may choose to align with 7:25 a.m. (UT) or 7:25 a.m. your own local time energizing a wave of intention that will surge around the Earth.
You have no idea how synchronistic this posting is to me. I was just this morning discussing with a friend how back in 1969 I saw the original showing of the stage play Hair. And I reminded him about the subject of the Dawning of the age of Aquarius, then told him that we were about to experience that very thing, the moon in the seventh house and Jupiter aligned with Mars etc. We had a lively discussion of the astrological aspects and ended with a very positive cheery feeling inside both of us. He is not even a very spiritual person but he resounded just as I did.
This is the first I have seen about February 14 being the exact day. Thank you so much. I will find a way to dedicate the time to sending love and peace during that moment.

so glad to be of service my dear brother! just posted this in another blog to a young man that is a bit confused and not feeling the love...seems appropriate to also enter it here.
as an aside, I was born an Aquarian with Aquarius in several houses and just about everything else in the 12th. After half century in this embodiment i guess i'm ready for the age to be here and the love to flow like water into wine!!

To truly love we have to give up our perceptions of love and what we 'want' from another. We have to learn that we are not separate, any of us, from each other. We have to understand that we are already complete, we do not complete one another. Then we are able to enter into a communion of love one with another that isn't based on what we 'need' but what we would 'give'-and when we 'give to each other' we are in truth 'giving to ourselves'.
When you do not feel loved, know this need not be. It is simply an act of ego creating separation rather than the unity that is in truth our Whole-ness, our One-ness, our Holy-ness. We are always Love, we came into Creation as Love, then we learned fear and our work now is to find our way back to Love. When you can see love in the face of every sister and brother you will find the Face of All Creation is looking into your eyes with Love. When we find the veils have finally lifted, Love is all there is. Namaste.

I am just checking the time for the Event. I can't do the 2 o'clock in the morning thing but I entend to spend the 18 minutes at 7:25 Dallas time focusing on Peace, Love and Oneness. I wish I had my Peace Pendant from the 60's.
I actually saw the stage play of Hair when it first opened on/off Broadway back in 1969, 40 years ago. And I still remember the exuberance my spirit expressed when hearing for the first time the song Age of Aquarius, and I didn't even know what it meant. Now I do. Woopee!

Good morning,
It will be time for me very shortly to begin this morning meditation, but the time is less important than that we DO.
I would add, it is also World Sound Healing Day and you can join Jonathon Goldman in sending that energy by visiting his site or simply by spending a few minutes sounding with the intent of healing the planet. He uses the tone of Ahhhh.
It is a day to lay down our defenses. A day to increase the light in our world, both seen and unseen. (like everyday)

"It is not danger that comes when defenses are laid down. It is safety. It is peace. It is joy. And it is God."
Where light is, darkness has no dwelling place. In joy, peace, love and light. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. kristyne
Am inspired to continue on with what Kristyne is getting at with that excellent quote from ACIM. Hatonn relates well to the same idea while using a star as an analogy for different visual perspectives. From outside the star one can adopt the somewhat separated dualistic perspective of seeing the Light beaming from the star and also the apparent darkness surrounding the star. From the star's perspective there is no darkness! Far too busy beaming out constant streams of Love and Light to spend any time considering illusive notions of apparent darkness and what that means.
Conclusion: We are ALL stars, inherently so, with free will to BE that star, continue Consciously Being that star, or play some illusion/delusion games of duality perspectives until we finally grow tired of such theatre drama and return to our former unfailing unassailable understanding ever waiting patiently in the wings behind the veil of free will and law of confusion (or better yet, inviolate right to one's own personal brand of Conscious confusion by Divine order).
In relation to Saturday morning, I had the best/longest meditation session I have ever had Friday night, complete with 3 youngster kitties hanging out with me, while listening (on headphones) to selections from The Moses Code and Jonathan Goldman (I have about 18 of his projects on CD). Meditation is so key now. We have been shadow boxing, punching angrily at the air to no avail, and then doing it again while expecting a different result this time around, when all along we could have calmly been an overwhelming energetic collective force for peace on this planet without moving an inch. Better late than never I always say!!!! LOL
