Hi All-
The cover story is drug trafficking control - an obvious scam, Wayne Madsen says it's to threaten Nicaragua but does Israel really care that much if some tiny 3rd world nation decides to condem it? I have to wonder if there is another hidden agenda going on here.

On the 2nd July 2010 the Costa Rica Congress authorized the entry of 46 U.S. warships capable of carrying 200 helicopters and warplanes, plus 7,000 U.S. Marines "who may circulate the country in uniform without any restrictions" , plus submarine killer ships to the Costa Rican coast for "anti-narcotics operations and humanitarian missions' between 1st July 2010 until 31st December 2010.
With this kind of nation destroying firepower, it gives real meaning to the expression "war on drugs", but if this a real six month "war on drugs" we should expect to see some fantastic results, right?
Politicians representing the Acción Ciudadana (PAC), the Unidad Social Cristiana (PUSC) and the Frente Amplio (FA) political parties opposed the measure saying that the destructive force of the ships, helicopters and 7,000 US Marines is "disproportionate for the fight against drug trafficking."
On Sunday, the President of Costa Rica Laura Chinchilla said that the government does not intend to militarize the fight against drugs and the Minister of Public Security Jose Maria Tijerino stressed that this huge, powerful military force would be under the command of the US Coast Guard and not the US Navy.
Although I don't suppose the Costa Ricans, the drug traffickers or we expats will notice the difference...
A few of the thoughts that raced through my mind?
- To my knowledge at the present time, Costa Rica is not suffering from any "humanitarian" crisis.
- The article did not make it clear what sort of "humanitarian missions" might take place.
- The article did not mention where any "humanitarian mission" might take place.
- Based on the truly horrific, drug crime related slaughters we have witnessed in Mexico, wouldn't it be better conducting these kinds of heavy weapon "anti-narcotics operations" in northern Mexico?
- With what is probably the world's worst environmental disaster going on right now in the Gulf of Mexico, surely it would be more appropriate to conduct "humanitarian missions" in the Gulf?
- Or, could these crucial warships and the 7,000 US Marines be fleeing from something far more dangerous that is about to happen in the Gulf of Mexico?
- The article did not make it clear whether these vessels would be patrolling off the Pacific or Atlantic coast but either way, is it possible they are on their way to Venezuela? Either as a show of force or something more serious?
- Does anyone know if any of these ships carry nuclear weapons?
Another politician Francisco Chacón defended the arrival of the US forces saying that "they would give humanitarian support, build schools and fight against drug traffickers."
If these 7,000 US Marines, 200 helicopters, warplanes and submarine killers are coming to Costa Rica to "give humanitarian support, build schools and fight against drug traffickers," perhaps we could ask them to repair the new highway to Caldera? With that kind of manpower they could have it finished in a week.
But seriously, what do you think is going on?

Costa Rican government officials, including President Laura Chinchilla, Vice President Luis Lieberman Ginsburg, Security Minister Jose Maria Tijerino, counter-narcotics Commissioner Mauricio Boraschi, and the Costa Rican Congress agreed to Operation Joint Patrol, which will see 7,000 US Marines, 46 mainly U.S. Coast Guard vessels, and 200 helicopters and 10 combat aircraft descend on Costa Rica, which does not have a military force, from July 1 to December 31.
At a time when the Coast Guard vessels could be used to assist in the clean-up of the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster, they will be used in an operation widely believed to be targeting the Sandinista government of Nicaragua, which incurred the ire of Israel and its Zionist ally in San Jose, Costa Rica, Vice President Lieberman, by severing relations with the Tel Aviv regime over the Israeli attack on the Gaza aid flotilla.
The official reason for Operation Joint Patrol is to combat drug trafficking but few in the Costa Rican opposition and in Nicaragua believe that to be the sole reason. The Joint Patrol operation is being likened to Plan Colombia, which has targeted the governments of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa from Colombian territory. The Costa Rican opposition has denounced Chinchilla's government for militarizing Costa Rica.
It is also believed by WMR's sources in Costa Rica that Costa Rican Vice President Lieberman, a noted Zionist, has arranged for Israeli special forces to enter Costa Rica in order to participate in operations directed against the government of Nicaragua.
From what I have read, it is very possible that this story is running cover for a simple staging area operation for US ships and subs that have been operating in the Gulf of Mexico. Lots of activity in the Gulf from many countries, including Russia. As I continued to dig for more info I ran into this very intriguing blog from someone purporting to have a source that knows exactly what is going on in the Gulf. It would explain why the Obama administration and the in-the-know elite have been so unnervingly calm about all of this, and would definitely fit in business as usual false flag tactics employed since the dawn of abstract-thinking man. I am posting it here for your consideration...
Scroll down just a tiny bit and the blog is called "BP, Illusion of a False Spill"

These days, if you want real news you have to dig for it, and even then you may not have the real story spelled out completely accurate. But one thing is for sure, headline news is not going to tell us what's really going on... They are basically saying, "Look at the monkey!, Look at the monkey!"
"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain"....
The lower vibration sensationalism distraction tactic is obvious. Keep your higher vibration wits and serene calm about you at all times, regardless of all the white noise clutter...
The revolution will not be televised...
Could they be trying to put the fear of God into all those narco-submariners we've been hearing about in the news? They've resorted to building subs now to transport coke from South America to Mexico. Cost=$1 million to build the sub, $500 million of coke per trip. Half a billion dollars...a few more of these and pretty soon you're talking real money;-) Actually, if CIA history is any guide, maybe they're trying to help them along...?
Hi Chris-
That link was fascinating, perhaps you should post it seperately to draw everyone's attention to it but I don't think the staging area idea makes sense. Looking on the map, why use Costa Rica to access the Gulf when it's right on the south coast of U.S.? Cuba and the Yucatan penninsula lie in between Costa Rica and the Gulf. I thought it might be a staging area if they are planning any funny business with Chevez though.

I just received an email message that BP may be planning to set off a couple of nuclear bombs in the Gulf tomorrow morning around 4:30am. Has anyone heard anything like this recently? It may be the reason all those ships were evacuated out of harm's way...
And then there is this report of a top kill attempt to proceed overnight that has nothing to do with nukes and sounds more like what is actually going to be attempted...
http://www.popsci.com/technology/article/2010-05/top-kill-underway-what-amp-top-kill
oops, scrub that link! it was for the attempt back in late May... if something is happening early tomorrow morning BP is zip lipped about it...

I hate to think of the US getting involved in another war. Let's all pray for peace, perhaps a letter to our congressional rep will help. The president isn't supposed to get involved without congressional approval, remember when that "God damned peice of paper" meant something?

Someone once mentioned that Obama was just playing possum until the right moment to spring is agenda for change. Hmmmm, I think you could interchange Bush for Obama and the ongoing present agenda would be virtually the same.
I will give Barack Obama the benefit of the doubt and just say that the presidency is no more than a political pawn and mouthpiece and won't even speculate as to whether Barack was lying through his teeth like most before him.
I am now thoroughly convinced that it does absolutely no good, makes no difference at all whether we vote or not, for the whole thing is so obviously a corporatocracy orchestrated and funded sham. It is really sad that we do not scare them. In some countries the people still do scare and concern those in positions of political power.
And how ironic that so many on the tea party right actually think Obama is a left wing commie out to destroy their country when Obama is so clearly carrying on with the Bush/Cheney Standard Oil agenda. What a bizarre time we live in...
So onward with the new agenda that will not be televised, the ongoing development and refinement of coherence initiatives of peoples all over the planet reclaiming their inherent divine power and ability to peacefully and serenely effect real change while fading the current insanity without condemnation....
I couldn't agree more about the voting thing, the only important voting we do is with our purse strings - vote local and small business, vote organic, vote to use our time for ourselves, not gobbling up the MSM. I agree with tea partiers about Obama though, unfortunately they think getting a republican in is the answer, that part I disagree with completely. There's 2 ways to move power from the people to the government/corporatocracy - socialism/communism and fascism, ie. democrats and republicans. Democrats focus on taking away economic freedoms and gun rights (increase taxes, more money to cops and schools (government indoctrination centers)) while the republicans concentrate on taking away social freedoms (stricter drug laws, marriage laws, immigration laws, more money on national defense). They are tightening the screws from opposite ends, that's all. Only third parties stand for the people so I'll vote libertarian/constitution party and green party on the same ballot, just so long as it isn't a democrat or republican (Kucinich and Ron Paul being almost the only exceptions - isn't it interesting how they left just one person of real integrity in both parties, just to make it look good?)
Both parties use the excuse - it's for the good of the majority to take away the rights of the individual. Both parties bennefit the bankers who want to make us beholden to them through an increased national debt. Democrats - we need taxes for the public welfare programs, schools, roads and by the way, wars are horrible but we have to finish what the republicans started. Republicans - taxes are horrible but unfortuneately we need them for national defense or the boogy man will attack and by the way, we can bring jobs to your community with this public works program.
I never trusted Obama from the beginning, he just part of the same ol' scam they've been playing since JFK got shot. His wife is too closely connected with the CFR - a dead give away in my opinion.
Not to end on a negative note - as economic systems and theirby governments collapse, we will have the perfect oportunity to begin to create our own new communities, not based on leadership and followership. We can learn to do consensus decision making in a thoughtful, worshipful manner and set up governments that are limited in size so that power will stay with the people. Countries that are large are doomed to failure as they leave the people with a sense of powerlessness. America needs to go back to individual statehood, where everyone can once again be a days drive away from the capitol. Even the states need to leave most of the power in the hands of the local communities so that individuality, diversity and freedom can flourish once again.
PLJ, you make some great points here and I agree that the system has become so broken that our votes don't mean anything. The fix is on and both candidates are puppets of the PTB so it doesn't matter which one gets elected, their agenda will carry on seemlessly. I happen to live in Ron Paul's district, and he is a man of integrity. The problem is, he's also a man in the wilderness. He can't even get on the presidential ballot in Texas so he and others like him have zero chance of making it to the whitehouse. Did you notice how as soon as his audit the Fed bill gained huge support in both houses, they kicked the health care debate into high gear and swept his bill under the rug? The reason the Tea Partiers back Republican candidates is that they realize the third party guys have very little chance of getting in. There have been a couple of Libertarians make it and slowly they may become a viable party, but the short term goal for November is to break the Democratic majority. This will serve as more of a putting on the brakes insted of a step in the right direction, but we have to start somewhere. If we can just get a viable third party, then we can have our Jeffersonian revolution. This is my vision of the future at any rate and I'm working hard to create that reality.
