My life being quite chaotic at the moment, this article spoke to some of the issues which are currently whirling about me - amongst other things, the challenge of compassion and the way of making a difference by dealing with the small things at hand ....
I am so sick of what is going on in this world right now and not being able to help. I consider myself an eternal optimist, but this is getting ridiculous. I used to think it was a small percentage of people that were harming this Earth.
I'm starting to believe that there are more people out there with bad intentions than I imagined. Maybe this is part of the awakening process? Maybe this all needs to happen in order for us to realize how screwed up we all are?

Over the last few months I’ve been having additional health challenges with vertigo – a new thing for me – not just fleeting light-headedness, but full blown can’t-walk dizziness with nausea and vomiting, lasting for hours. Now I do realise that this isn’t the worse sort of challenge we can have, but it certainly isn’t pleasant and not something I would consciously welcome. I love the concepts of Random Acts of Kindness and Paying it Forward (I did have to explain to someone how this worked, saying he didn't need to pay me back, but instead consider paying it forward!) It amazes me just how easily we can all bring a moment of joy or magic into somebody else's life with just a little bit of thought. How cool it would be if we could have National Day of Kindness, and then why not just continue with it? With loving thoughts for a kinder world :-)

I had been hearing about this book series about Anastasia called the Ringing Cedar Series. I have read just over halfway through the first book and am very excited. I was just wondering if anyone else has touched on this or tried any of the suggestions she has mentioned in the book.
