One way to take back our power is through nullification.  It's not as far out of our reach as one might think.  Time and again, individual states have broken free of federal mandates by declaring their own state laws.  A recent example of this can be seen in the increased number of states that are legalizing marijuana.

The map below shows states legalizing marijuana use for medical and recreational purposes.

Information below is current as of Nov. 5, 2014 and includes ballot measures approved in the 2014 elections that have yet to take effect:

I love seeing these coalitions develop, especially when they bring right and left wing politics together. I think it's a sign that their divide and conquer strategy is failing.
