Sociological Analysis of Social Media

I found this one very worthwhile and very interesting. Hope you do too.

Wow, John, that was really incredible!  What a great teacher Mr Wesch must be.

I have been on Facebook for about a year and am consistently surprised by the vitriol on one hand that develops not just on "fan" pages, but also between friends, and then on the other hand, the incredible support and gentleness people receive there.  It is, no doubt, changing us.

Much love and light,

Kathy

Enlightening, enlightening, entertaining, illuminating, a must watch for all who communicate on the internet, and the writing on the hands part with all the oneness and one world messages was very encouraging!!!!  Thanks John for posting...

Chris, as I watched that, I started to cry with joy!  It was a beautiful statement.

Great post John.   That You-Tube information he talked about…. How many video’s are uploaded every minute… and how much is out there is mind boggling.   Wow.  No wonder we are going to have to go out of our minds – the mind just can’t keep up anymore!   Absolutely incredible.

I also felt an immense feeling of encouragement when watching the "hand writing" statements.

With gratitude,

 Mary

Hi Guys-

Don't know what's up with my computer - I downloaded the latest Adobe flash player to no avail. I think I found the video on YouTube though, which my computer handles fine. Is this the video that was posted?

If so, I thought it was a good topic. For many years now I've felt that the internet will have the same impact on society as the invention of the printing press did years ago. One of my 9/11 truther friends keeps telling me to read the book The Global Brain Awakens - I haven't gotten around to it yet but the idea is that like any developing organism, we are creating a new collective intelligence.
