Dear ones,
For those who are astologically or astronomically incline here is a headline to watch for.
The final days of November finds Venus moving into conjunction with the Planet Jupiter. By November 30th, Venus and Jupiter will be a mere 2°50’ from each other. By December 1st, Venus, Jupiter and a 4-day-old waxing crescent moon will be within 2°30’ of each other.
As I was walking my dog this evening I notice first the sliver of the waning crescent moon, then I noticed that these planets were moving close to one another in a celestial hug. I was "told" that there would be a magnificent conjuntion shortly. The above information confirmed my psychic anouncement. I don't know yet the energy behind this conjunction but I surmise with strong inclination that it is a vigorous event. I will update when I know more.
Anyone who is studied in Astrology want to make a comment?

Did any of you see the video of the meteorite which came down in Canada last night. WOW! I am surprised that seismologist didn't record the location of that one. This is another interesting celestial occurance, within these few days of time!. Curiouser and curiouser!

Thanks for the heads-up (pun intended). I was recently given a nice telescope and haven't had a chance to use it. It's set up so you can view through the eyepiece or hook a 35mm camera to it. I have an old Canon AE1 that worked perfectly when I set it aside about 12 years ago. I might just have to play around with this.

I'll be looking forward to seeing your results. Looks like it is going to be cloudy here for the duration. Oh darn!
Well many will be blessed with the sight. Enjoy.

Neato. I'll go out and look for it. As far as astrology goes all I know is that Jupiter is the planet of knowledge and Venus is of love....so, perhaps a neat pairing.
I'll be looking forward to seeing your results...
It was cloudy and rainy all weekend. Last night around dusk the sky cleared for a couple hours before the fog rolled in and I got an eyeful! Wow! Unfortunately I was at work, and didn't get home before it had all been obscured, so no photos. I dragged a few guys outside to see it, though.

Dave,
Fear not, tonight is the peak and will be even more beautiful and awe inspiring. Hopefully it will not be cloudy for any of us. Ursula sent out an email describing this as a celestial funny face. Have your camera ready.
