For anyone who wants to decode binary numbers, here is how it works.
The first column on the right (in any number system) is the units, or 1 column.
The second column in binary (base 2) is 2
The 3rd is 4
The 4th is 8.
You should be able to guess the next columns: 16, 32, 64, 128, 236, etc.
so the following are:
111 1 + 2 + 4 = 7
10001 1 + 16 = 17
11011 1 + 2 + 8 + 16 = 27
1000011 1 + 2 + 64 = 67
I do not really think the sample given was supposed to be just converted to decimal (base 10) because two of the number groups have unnecessary leading zeros. Suppose I told you I was going to give you 00000008 dollars. You don't even get an extra cup of coffee for the leading zeros.
The actual numbers in the "lyrics" are 10 0011 10101, which represent (in base 10) 2, 3, 21. This corresponds to the letters B,C, and U.
Still doesn't convey any information to me.
