For those who don't know, the Wednesday June 18 Full Moon marks the third of the three major full moon festivals of the year.
It is known as The Christ Festival (also called Festival of Humanity & World Invocation Day). The five day festival began on Monday - two days before the day of the Full Moon & ends two days after the day of the Full Moon.
Keynote: humanity, aspiring to God
'I recognize my other self and in the waning of that self, I grow and glow.'
This is the Festival of the spirit of humanity aspiring towards God, seeking conformity with the will of God and dedicated to the expression of right human relations. This is a day whereon the spiritual and divine nature of mankind will be recognized.
On this Festival for two thousand years, the Christ has represented humanity and has stood before the Hierarchy and in the sight of Shamballa as the God-Man, the Leader of His people, and 'the Eldest in a great family of brothers' (Romans VIII:29). Each year at that time He has preached the last sermon on the Buddha, before the assembled Hierarchy. This will, therefore be a festival of deep invocation and appeal, of a basic aspiration towards fellowship, of human and spiritual unity, and will represent the effect in the human consciousness of the work of the Buddha and of the Christ.
For two days prior to the full moon, on the day of the full moon itself, and for the two succeeding days (five days) endeavor at sunrise, at noon, at five o'clock p.m., and at sunset, plus the exact time of the full moon in your own land, to say the Great Invocation with the intent to invoke, precipitate and anchor in outer manifestation the waiting potencies. Do this aloud when possible, and in group formation whenever feasible. It is the focused power of unemotional thought which will bridge the present existing gap and link more closely the two worlds of spiritual activity and of human demonstration.

Relationship of the Two Festivals
(From the Wesak Message 1944)
At the time of the Wesak Festival , the Buddha will sound out a great mantram and become the 'absorbing Agent' of the first ray force. He will use the magnetic power of the second ray to attract this force to Himself and hold it steady, prior to redirecting it. The Christ will then ---on behalf of the Hierarchy--- become the 'receiving Agent' of this potent energy and the seven groups of Masters Who work with the human and sub-human kingdoms will (in response to His demand) become the 'directing Agents' for the seven fold expression of this force.
At the time of the Festival of Humanity (World Invocation Day), the Hierarchy will, under the guidance of the Christ, let loose this will-to-good upon Humanity, producing seven great results, according to the seven sub-rays of this first ray of will or power:
1. Power will be given to the disciples of the world and the initiates among men, so that They can direct efficiently and wisely the coming process of rebuilding.
2. The will-to-love will stimulate the men of goodwill everywhere that hatred will gradually be overcome and men will seek to live together cooperatively. This will take some time, but the inner urge is there and subject to stimulation.
3. The will-to-action will lead intelligent people throughout the world to inaugurate those activities which will lay the foundation for a new, better and happier world.
4. The will-to-cooperate will steadily increase also. Men will desire and demand the right human relations-a result more general than that produced by the activity of the first three aspects of this ray, but which will be a natural outcome of this aspect.
5. The will-to-know and to think correctly and creatively will become an outstanding characteristic of the masses. Knowledge, my brothers, is the first step towards wisdom.
6. The will-to-persist (which is an aspect of devotion and fixed idealism) will become a human characteristic- a sublimation of the basic instinct of self-preservation. This will lead to a persistent belief in the ideals presented by the Hierarchy, and the demonstration of immortality.
7. The will-to-organize will further a building process which will be carried forward under the direct inspiration of the Hierarchy. The medium will be the potency of the will-to-good of the New Group of World Servers and the responsive goodwill of mankind.

Wonderful, Beautiful, let it be, be it so!!!!
One fun question concerning this line,
"and may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power restore the plan on Earth"
Since "evil" is little more (if anything more at all) than the illusion(s) that happen(s) when we turn away from that guiding and all-encompassing Light (that is literally the only thing that is real) to seek out the illusion of an autonomous direction into "darkness" (temporary blindness), do we really need to "seal the door", or do we just need to simply turn around (literal meaning of "repent") and remember???
Also, about Luci's Trust (used to be called Lucifer's Trust), is there anything you can say about that organization to quell anyone's possible obvious concerns??? Just an almost completely rhetorical thought.....
Love, Chris
Since "evil" is little more (if anything more at all) than the illusion(s) that happen(s) when we turn away from that guiding and all-encompassing Light (that is literally the only thing that is real) to seek out the illusion of an autonomous direction into "darkness" (temporary blindness), do we really need to "seal the door", or do we just need to simply turn around (literal meaning of "repent") and remember???
So how to reply...good and evil, light and dark, God and Lucifer (to most fundamentalist religions anyway) are examples of the law of polarity. Part of the wholeness of all, and the Oneness for even Lucifer came from that Oneness. To me, the 'sealing of the door' is our own hearts, to allow our conscious thought and action to be from the purest point of Light and for the highest good rather than from lesser motives like greed, hatred, etc. I'm not sure it's necessarily 'simple' to remember, but yes, I'm in agreement that 'remembering', awakening, learning to bring our fear, our own 'evils' from this life or past lives to the Light 'seals the door'. Not sure I've answered, but those are my thoughts.
As to the 'Lucis Trust', it was founded by Alice Bailey, fundamentalists are quite frightened by her work, Blavatsky's work, Theosophy-anything New Age, or 'Occult'. The first sects that eventually arose to 'Christianity', that provided the teachings for Mary to be the mother of Yeshua, were secret 'sects'-the Essenes, the Copts-met in hiding. The exposure to teachings of healing, meditation, contemplation came out of those and other 'mystery schools'. The world has seen many ascended Masters-Jesus Christ and the Buddha are of course two.
I looked online for info about Lucis Trust and found alot of fundamental religious folk up in arms about teachings that I consider closer to truth than what I learned in the Christian church. Let's throw this out there-"Lucifer, fallen angel or angel doing exactly the job he was given to do?" (let's see how much conversation that one starts!)
There are some pretty important names affiliated with Lucis, now and historically, which isn't to say they are 'good or evil'. If anyone is concerned about the above material, please don't use it. We each feel what is right for us on an intuitional level if we listen. For me, I've read much of Alice's work and Blavatsky's, and Steiner's etc. The more information we're exposed to, the more we discover what resonates with us! Many blessings...in the Wholeness of the One. kristyne
I brought up Luci's Trust because I remember how much that garnered knee jerk reactions in western religious circles in the past.
You said, "To me, the 'sealing of the door' is our own hearts, to allow our
conscious thought and action to be from the purest point of Light and
for the highest good rather than from lesser motives like greed,
hatred, etc."
This really resonates with me because I know that our free will is so faithfully honored by the One Light, One True Self, so how could "sealing of the door" be anything but our free will personal choice to simplyleave the invested-in illusions of "evil", and their accompanying behaviors, by our shared Divine Intention of our very available and very Conscious free will and intent? We would have to deny our True Selves to do anything less (which is obviously what we have been doing all this time). Makes perfect sense to me and places the responsibility right back where it belongs! Off of this silly concept of an invisible "devil" somewhere "out there" (making me do all those bad things against my will, LOL) and right back onto each of us personally.
Oh, and you mentioned Blavatsky - so glad you did!!!! I just began reading "The People of the Secret" by Ernest Scott with introduction by Colin Wilson. Have you read it yet? It is a wonderful study of the very real possibility of an advanced culture that has been here the whole time, living in relative secret (maybe somewhere in Central Asia), and has been aiding, advancing and nurturing mankind's progress periodically to help us keep up with this solar system's cosmic clock and maybe even our cellular clocks (interesting discussion on that in the book), so to speak.
Blavatsky, as well as many others, is referenced liberally in the book....
Thank you for your post, Presence and participation - all of this makes me think back to that very inspiring line, "If you build it, they will come"
