An amazing dinner party

I was standing in the right place at the right time. I bumped into a stranger and with a nod and a wink a Mason would be proud of, he invited me to a magical dinner party. Living in the city teaches you not to be trusting so I checked this guy out. I enlisted the help of the Google Detective Agency. Results were in, this guys on the level, he’d done amazing works in so many other lands, he and his pals had a good track record.

I accepted the invitation to the dinner party and we embarked on a magical adventure of darkness and light. I was slow, I wanted to swim at each of the water holes, I wanted to rush through the valley of the Wili Wili but I found each stop (there were twenty-one) had its own blessing and I couldn’t move on until I had received it. Finally we came to a clearing where I saw a magnificent light beaming into the centre of a court-yard. The light shone directly into a large dish that seemed to have an eternal fire blazing within it. The fire was blazing within a Merkabah construction which seemed to give the light an intelligence . It seemed to me that once you came into the domain, the light would embrace you and attend to your needs.

I came to understand that there were other guests already in the dining hall and I was warmly greeted. Upon entering I noticed some people having light conversation and some people engaged deeply in what they were discussing. All the conversation however took place around tables that had all kinds of food presented some food obviously from the master chefs working in the back kitchen and some food that the villagers had brought to share. What was obvious was the abundant love and nourishment that was on offer.

As the night wore on I caught snippets of conversations, questions, who are our hosts? What is really is their intention? Shouldn’t we all have a say in the way this beautiful manner is run? I was surprised by this, I had no reason to doubt the integrity of our hosts. Our hosts are generously offering free food, an open invitation to partake in the abundance, I thought. As a musician, I have learned to never pass up free food, in fact stick as much as you can in your coat pocket because you never know where your next gig is.

Was it too much of a good thing? I glanced across as a glass of red wine was hurled at me. I didn’t see it coming. Before long, wine and food was being hurled at one-another only it wasn’t like in the movies where bikini-clad girls are joyously lathering and smearing themselves and each other with cream puffs. No, this was serious, as if people’s lives depended on it. I left the party I was really pissed of that my white linen suit had stains all over it. It has taken three days of soaking in St. Germains violet cleansing powder to come good. It’s easy to forgive, but harder to get the stains out. But for all of that, I am going back to the party

Hi Rovin,

Good to see you back!

Sorry we could not oblige with the bikini-clad lovelies, but how about some old ladies in mother-hubbards?

I think we have all learnt a great deal from the food-fight.

Love to you

Ursula

Hi Ursula, old mother-hubbards?  Yes!  Come out of the cupboards.  with love as one, Rob

Say, ah...did you check the pockets of that jacket.  There wouldn't be any of those fuzzy science projects growing in there, would there?   Wouldn't want to be breeding a new species or anything.

Great story,     Cool

Dear Tricia, yes, but we must respect all sentient life!  I'm sure that even the microbes and bacteria and new hybrid genetic formations as they breed ask the same questions as us.  Why I am here?  What is my purpose?  what is that smell?  With love, as one, Rob.

Dear Chris, therein lies the problem, you went for the acid.  you should've gone straight for the cream puffs!  Specific density of sugar and fat slamming into the Pineal gland...now that's a trip...as one, Rob.
