Conversation with a Little Girl
A stranger was seated next to a little girl on the airplane
When the stranger turned to her and said, 'Let's talk. I've heard that
flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow
passenger.'
The little girl, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said
to the stranger, 'What would you like to talk about?'

What I've seen
has made me a new person.
That which I was
is now gone,
cremated
by the light
of almighty love.

Now I am the smoke,
now I am the wind,
now I am the stars
and the indigo black
of night.

Now my face shines
in the moons
and the suns,
and I am home
on every planet.

Our family
has been killed a thousand times,
died endlessly
in infinite agonies.

Our family
had the blossoms
of their love
snatched from under their hearts.

Our family
has suffered so many knives.
So much sharp,
bitter
pain.

They want to prevent global warming:
The warming of the heart
all over
the globe?

Now that
is just plain
silly!

FOUR

There is so much beauty in the human race;
so much beauty in the human face.

Stars wrapped in skin, glistening.
Sparking filaments of spirit dance within.

A face that stares in anger and fear makes an old face.
A face that gives and shares, that declares there is love, is a young face.

With these faces the human race must find its faith - To radiate.
And to not forget - There is always light in that inner place.
