1. Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold the vegetables while you chop.

I mentioned in my last blog that there was another story that I wanted to share.

In 1971, I moved from NYC NY to Miami Beach Fl. What a transition!  Of course I had experienced Miami several years before after I had I got out of the Navy, spending some time there before making a decission as to where I wanted to begin non-military life. 

I have lots of things to teach you now,
in case we ever meet,
concerning the message that was transmitted to me
under a pine tree in North Carolina
on a cold winter moonlit night.

If the last couple of days are any indication, tomorrows New Moon is going to be a "whiz-bang" of a new moon.  Don't kid yourself that the Full Moon is the most potent of the lunar aspects!

The BBC story below on a "Miracle Berry" alternative to artificial
sweeteners seems to provide anecdotal evidence that the FDA, which in
1974 didn't allow the berry to be introduced into food, is in bed with
big business. It seems that it is prepared to be used to kill off new
competitors, and then refuse to disclose its reasoning even after a
Freedom of Information request.
