Negative Emotions

I am a fan of the comic strip Non Sequitur and the offering today gave me a pleasant chuckle which I thought to share with all of you. 

In the last couple years I've discovered the neti pot.  The ancient ayurvedic practice of cleansing the sinus cavities is called jalaneti.  As a sufferer of mild nasal allergies most of my life, I realized the value of this from the first day.  Now I have two neti pots.  I keep one in the shower, and use it every day.

Yesterday morning I hauled myself out of bed at 0330 hoping to get some photos of the occultation of Venus, and the Lyrid meteor shower.  No luck on the meteors, but I shot almost 200 photos of Venus passing behing the moon.  I was a mess all day for lack of sleep, but it was worth it.  Here's a sample...

If you look close, you can see that Venus is also a crescent.

Greetings from Home.

The economy has been on my mind of late, like how can we throw that much money at a 'problem' and not realize that its more than a problem.  That there is something fundamentally wrong and adding more water to a leaky bucket aint going to fix it.  Well from a consciousness perspective we're right where we're suppose to be.  Or you could say change is happening, at some point I/we are going to have to change along with it.  Anyway, this is rather long but worth the read, in fact we need to educate ourselves as to the "problem" so we can have an intelligent disscussion about what to do next.
