Today I received an announcement from Jewish Voice For Peace, of which I am a member. The announcement was about how 12 demonstrators from Young Jewish Proud (an affiliate of JVP) disrupted Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech before the Jewish General Assembly in New Orleans, showing that there is serious dissent amongst the Jewish population regarding some of the major policies of Israel and what it means to be Jewish. now is the time to begin to pressure these new and old(congressmen) that we aren't going to take any more garbage from them. Elections are over and now they have to face their voters and supporters. How does a person spell that silly word,,,, forget it. What it means it if you do it fine, if you don't ...out the door!
I have had a difficult evening. A lot of sorrow and missing of my dear loved one Ray. I don't know how many times I have fallen into tears tonight, thinking about him. I guess that it is triggered by the fact that I am planning to scatter his ashes aroung his mothers grave this coming weekend. That I guess is a final goodby. It doesn't keep me from having emotions like in the video above. I am so lonesome I could cry! .......
OK, so I get it... there are no good choices in politics. No difference between the parties... they're all crooked or on the take, or at least with such questionable values as to easily negotiate them away. I know that elections in the United States are a sham. I know that most of the people who were voted out probably didn't play well with the big boys. I get that.
I have a favorite home remedy and thought it would be fun and hopefully also helpful to hear from others if they have favorites that they feel are especially effective.
