Beware of fake message from someone alleging to be Berry Chastain

I received a request for funds this morning from someone alleging to be Berry Chastain, one of our long standing dear members here at the G-Spot.  I initially felt it may have been authentic, but I slowly got that funny creepy feeling that something was a foul.  I asked "Berry" to help me verify that it was indeed him emailing me from Manilla, PI by asking him to tell me what our (Berry & I) favorite subject is that we studied together with others in "groups" on the old website, and asked him to tell me what the name of the old website was, and asked him to tell me what the name of his beloved is who past away somewhat recently.  And asked him to post a forum post here (on the G-Spot) on the site we both are familiar with.

Received back a very defensive posture email in somewhat bad english that did not address any of my conditions for verification and was at that point pretty sure something was not right.  Then emailed Berry from an old email from my "sent" file and Berry sent me this from home (not Manilla, LOL)...

Hi Chris, I know what your wondering!!!!
I got a trojan which sent that scam message to all my contacts on Prismpoint and wiped out my contact list as well.  Sorry people,  I can't even let anyone know it happened.

So yeah, I am at home and I am alright.
Thanks
Berry
