On Monday, November 28, 2011, students at UC-Davis occupied Dutton Hall, the University's financial center, and held an all-day teach-in. Author/Journalist/Filmmaker Charles Shaw was one of the featured speakers. Here is his talk, "The History of Police Militarization in the US."

It's official, Mayor Bloomberg has no heart.

On December 10th (International Human Rights Day),  New York parents and children marched in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street to protest NYPD Bullies.

“We teach our children at home and in schools that bullying is wrong,” said Mark Hamilton of Parents for Occupy Wall St. “The violence by some in the NYPD against peaceful protesters is confusing our children; we are left to explain unprofessional and inexcusable actions.”

In this 5 minute ditty, Clif High talks about our Gregorian Calendar's relationship to the Mayan Calendar, and how it relates to 2012.
