Non-Violence: Dude embodies my values-and in a tight spot
I just have to share this brief video w/you because I'm so moved when I watch and listen to this guy.
Some people judge this fellow for a hippie, drunk, lucky, crazy, doper, just about anything but it just amazes me how they miss the point! He transforms the situation with pure intention and love.
Please put on your compassionate ears and notice how he weakens the cops' resolve with a sweetness of spirit (I think) of a compassionate and pious heart. He doesn't seem to make any striking or shoving movements that would trigger aggression-he just seems to wriggle and squirm. His invoking of Yahweh brings chills to my spine! He refers to them as the "boys in blue"-a loving phrase. The sum of all he does and says strikes me as the essence of loving non-violence.
Love and Peace to you-Brian

What a perfect expression of divine sovereignty. And I loved how the cops just let him run off and did not pursue him. There are such great clues here for us, and may come in very handy in a possible police state scenario... Thanks Brian
Thanks Brian
Great post!! I was cheering when he actually got away.

Dang!
Dang, Brian. (Excuse the drawl, I lived in NC for awhile.) I just tried to view your video on youtube and received this message: "This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated due to multiple third-party notifications of copyright infringement."
Without seeing the clip, let me just say in general, I'm always amazed at the negative comments on YouTube. So many videos that ring true for me and obviously appear (to me) to be presented by honest, caring people are cut to shreds by an extraordinary number of naysayers.
I realize that some folks are paid to poo poo ideas that buck the status quo, but other comments are made by real people who are so deeply entrenched in their paradigm that no light can penetrate their minds.
Sometimes it makes me wonder if there's hope for the human race... but I suppose the cream will rise to the top.
Thanks for sharing,
Noa
