Sometimes I get so caught up in what the world needs that I forget all it has to offer. I get trapped in this mentality that the Earth is broken and needs my help to fix it. It's true we can all work to make this a better place, but the resistance is what makes it fun.

The Earth is wonderfully fantastic the way it is. It is all unfolding as it should. How do I know that? Because it is happening!!

That's all the proof I need. Let's not get so caught up in the shadow side that we can't bask in the light.

Then they co-opt that energy, in this case SEXUALITY. Which mirrors our psychic centers and provides the energies for "higher powers".

I've been watching many videos on WWI and WWII. The unimaginable loss of life by horrifying experience has hit me once or twice. The "shadow" or polarity wasn't fun for people getting gassed in German death camps where you can still see their fingernail scratches in the concrete walls. The sensless suffering makes me worry that thinking it's a game is a disservice. I can still hold that thought but I understand people not finding it exceptable.

...that I am 4 years late to this party but I must thank Fred for jumping in here and bringing this to the front page. I have been kind of taking a break as of late and reading pulp just for entertainment. It looks as though I now have a structured bit of study to do and 4 years worth of posts to catch up on. Off to see if I can get these PDFs straight onto my Kindle Fire.

Edit: I have found that the link to book one in the first post is broken. Also, in the post where Chris put the other 4 books, the link is not there. Also, nowhere in this site can I find a button called "Groups". Are these just the hazards of working from a 4 year old discussion or did we run into trouble with distributing copyrighted material? I was able to download the Council of Nine material (thanks Berry). If anyone knows where I can obtain the LOO material please let me know.

Thanks Fred! It seems that I was one click away from there on my search last night. I made my way through the study guide which was quite interesting. I think I know where Nassim Haramein got the ideas for his research now. RA was using all the terms that Nassim espouses these days, curious.

I have in the past come across references to Ra and the Law of One but so far hadn't taken the time to dive deeper into it until just recently Keith, my husband, downloaded 'The Ra Contact: Teaching the Law of One" by Don Elkins which I've just started reading.  This afternoon, for no particular reason, Keith drew my attention to the possible re-incarnational connection between Edgar Cayce and David Wilcox which I thought was interesting but wasn't aware of any relation to Ra.  This afternoon I also started going through this thread but was called away and left the page open on my browser.  When I just came back to it now, I was amazed by the post which was sitting right in front of me:

Just thought I'd tack my post in here as it relates to JUDGEMENT and COMPASSION - the idea that these were two faces of the same coin was not an obvious concept for me ...

Anyway, came across this further comment on the essence of compassion on Masters of the Spirit World website which I found interesting and quite thought provoking - and having our thoughts PROVOKED is never a bad thing ...

Thanks, Fred. Very courageous of you. I'm not sure there are any "normal" orientations to sexuality anymore. And the isms don't help. Sexism, ageism, etc...

Also the repressive society we inherited from Victorian days causes many problems.

Wilhelm Reich studied orgone and how its exchange is free and easy with children. It's why we love them and are attracted to their energy, if we're not controlling or manipulative. They're how we used to be...

The "native Americans", I gathered, had over 240 different types of sexuality they honored or respected. WOW.

Anyway, if we had been allowed to grow up more freely and naturally and experiment and experience, things would be much different. As it is, too much is focused on SEX instead of energy.

No solutions here. But love and understanding. WE can be there for one another, but don't look to psychotherapy for answers.

As I read posts about the ellite paedophilia I know that we all need to heal our own sexual deviations to really heal the world so here goes....I hope what you say about sharing will help with the healing. I also hope that if more people bravely share it will help us all heal.

I myself have struggled almost all my life about inappropriate sexual fantasies connected to food and over eating / binging. While my binges seem to get more brief as I get older, there are still times that I eat only to get a sexual high. I'm not really sure what has caused this in my life but without going into details that are not really mine to share, I can only say that I'm pretty sure there are other members of my family that had the same issues. The combination of sugar and fat reacts like a powerful drug in my body. Kind of a tough thing to take in a world that is so full of this food. I'm figuring there must be a lot of other folks who react this way or why else would those foods be pushed so much when they are so unhealthy.

I know how important it is for our spiritual advancement to get over these addictions / sexual deviations. There is a lot of fear in me connected with sharing this but I know logically that this community has been very supportive and so I hope that others will brvely offer their stories. I think the best support / help we could hope for is to know that we are not alone in these problems.
