I hope everyone here is doing well.

I had been hearing about this book series about Anastasia called the Ringing Cedar Series.  I have read just over halfway through the first book and am very excited.  I was just wondering if anyone else has touched on this or tried any of the suggestions she has mentioned in the book.

Wow, Nick! Thank for sharing so beautifully and vulnerably. And how great that you got such a clear message from the universe on your ayahuasca journey. May your path guide you beautifully to that place of breaking free.

And Julie, thank so much for sharing the gems you got from "The Game." I resonate strongly with everything you wrote. Therein lie the keys to mastery. Take care and enjoy!

The first book in the Ringing Cedars series is a relatively short read. Described by reviewers as Mills & Boon meets Carlos Castenada or The Bible meets Star Trek ;-)

The ideas put forward by Anastasia largely resonated with me, living in total balance and harmony with nature, effortlessly relying on nature for a complete life support system - quite an appealing idea. I like the idea about growing food that’s ideally suited to our own DNA make up, about the importance of honouring the bees who even in our own societies are critical for our food production – Einstein said something about humanity only being able to survive 4 years without the activity of bees! (I’ve come across the quote 3 times in different places over the last few weeks!)

Interesting idea of no ritual being made of mealtimes, grazing on what comes to hand as it’s required. Such a big contrast with the way things are in our society where food and drink have such immense cultural and social ramifications. And that’s without touching on the issue of all the pervasive psychological issues we have relating to food.

The timing of the story in 1994/95 is only around 25 years ago, yet I had the sense of it being a lot further back in time whilst reading it. The author and narrator, Vladimir, is not an attractive character – abrasive, aggressive, impatient, critical, selfish – a stark contrast with Anastasia’s way of being, and possibly chosen for that reason, so that we’ll perhaps be able to see more clearly his development as things progress.

Apparently some readers have felt an emotional connection to the book straight away and been inspired to all sorts of poetic writings – that’s not me – although I am interested enough to want to see how this develops!

Just thought I’d get this posted while things were still fresh in my mind – looking forward to what Nick has to say! And also Fred and Chris, if this sparks off any ideas?

I had a similar reaction, Julie. Cool stuff. A little unbelievable for me, but still a very entertaining story with a great message. I haven't read any further than the first book.

Yes. I feel it MORE important to get deeper in touch with nature. Not give in to fear and DOOM scenarios. Remember the language. The SILVER key...

Those wanting to survive the shiftings need to have a strong connection with Earth. Virtually, there's nowhere else. Respect, honor, cherish.

And PEOPLE aren't good to follow in that regard. The sheep are running and stumbling blindly toward whatever. The tension, the pressure, the absurdity make it easier to wake up, if you're paying attention.

I also resonate with all of those bits you extracted.

And with the birds and the bees. The bears and the trees. Always have liked animals and nature more than people. Simple. Easy. HONEST.

Just finished Song of Susannah. Onward! To the Tower!

Also, the non-interference with free will policy...

Both the WingMakers and the beings from WB Yeats' The Vision are trying to inspire creativity...

    Hmm?...

Most systems or magnum opus practically destroy the creator in the process.

Steve somehow made it through the DT.

I have other examples I could dredge up.

Jose Arguelles, Ian Xel Lungold, Falco, Philip K Dick, John Steinbeck, Ra Uru Hu...

    There's more.

52 seems a magic number for those going early but with more of a full life.

    Hang in there.

Funny. Was inspired to above by reading journal excerpts about Steve's process with the DT at the end of SoS. Just finished and last one was a faux article about him getting hit by a car and killed on my birthday in 1999 (6/20/99). He was 52.

I'm fairly certain TIME will die before I hit that age. Six years and one month from now. 8/12/23 comes before that. Woo

Reiki seems to have a good reputation and following but I would describe my experience at best as very subtle in the physical dimension. It's difficult to sing the praises of Reiki when I have no personal experiential evidence of it having any effect at all, either on myself or others.

As part of my early efforts to become 'more spiritual' I undertook Reiki 'trainings' and workshops, having 3 attunements up to master practitioner level over around 18 months.

And the limitations placed upon whatever beings, having to use WORDS, especially if they've never been human.

And our HTSI (human time space illusion) and having to respond within that framework.

That's why I'm going to drop down and explore for myself. We've come a long way, baby!

But thanks to all those who have come before and have yet to come. Good luck to y'all in the 3D scenario!

I found Seth Speaks to be one of the best books out there for explaining really big picture, meaning of life type stuff. I also read the Education of Oversoul Seven series and found it to be quite intriguing and well written. There is so much great material available to those who open to it. Enjoy!

Getting back to where we started, Fred, what's your experience of Reiki?

  • fredburks's picture

I absolutely love energy work in all its forms. I haven't studied Reiki and have only received a few Reiki sessions that weren't very notable for me. I tend to not be so interested in the codified forms of energy work like Reiki, yet I know it really works for a lot of people and fully support that. My own understanding of such things for both practitioners and those receiving is that the more you trust and believe in it, the more it works. I personally love to play with energy, but in a much more free from way. And how are your travels going?

We've got a property in France so after the ferry and a day's driving we generally don't do much traveling. I loved the place right from the start although my husband's still ambivalent. It's been the friction point for a lot of life lessons.

After a lot of frustrating searching the property literally fell in our laps - although we almost dismissed it as being well over our budget.

Truly blessed - and Suzie (our furry friend) loves it too - we know she's settled when she starts squirming on her back on the grass in the morning dew!

The first thing I read this morning was that Leonard Cohen has left this world.  A master of music has taken his place in a more Angelic realm.  I consider him genius. His music became more poignant as he aged, his voice rough - his words often tender. So I ask a blessing on his way and offer you these. In memoriam, Dear Mr. Cohen.

Thanks so much for the story on Hallelujah Kristyne, I had seen a discussion on it somewhere, and no one had the correct answer..... I just stumbled on this version,,,by pentatonix,,, https://youtu.be/fwMowPviUAQ ,,,,,and it has the lyrics

Whatever force brought those kids together definitely had this in mind, they are just so tight. And there's only a few real bass vocalists out there,,Avi is one of them. I was downloading their videos and playing them for the kids in China,,,they were in awe, and begged for them every day. Of course they are the same kids that begged for Minecraft parodies too!

If you didn't follow Kristyne's link on the other post, Cohen explained that the song was written as a sort of recognition, or acceptance, of a "less than perfect" world,, which I guess is like saying,,,"All is as it should be",,or,,"All is well",,,, kind of fitting for the Gspot

Since I first came across Hallelujah many years ago I've been haunted by its beauty and appreciated the occasions when it popped up unbidden in my life. I was amazed and delighted when I found this song on Jai-Jagdeesh's 'Of Heaven and Earth' which I bought totally on a whim without having heard it, and which is now one of my favourite albums! Just a very small example of how God moves in mysterious ways ....

The Dutroux affair is a key to understanding how child sex trafficking rings are used to corrupt and control politicians around the world. For by far what I have seen is the best coverage of this incident, see the amazing, disturbing documentary "The Imperium" at https://www.wanttoknow.info/mk/child-trafficking-documentary. By shining a light into the shadows, we can make a big difference.

I find it interesting (I site the Catholics, although they are all different, like everyone), how damn near EVERYBODY has been coerced into regular "transgression". The whole confession shtick seems to encourage people to "sin" and then just repeatedly ask for forgiveness...

But they ain't got nothing on the mainstream media as far as contradictions go.

The way it plays and preys on people's minds and emotions with distractions and confusion of a devious nature. Keeping everyone fixated and trapped in mostly lower emotions (fear, anger, sadness). If there's laughter, it's usually based on perpetuating stereotypes or repetitive animalistic laugh tracks...

    But I DIGRESS.

So, yes, they get the politicians and celebrities, anyone with "power" or influence in their pocket so they can't rock the boat or disturb the paradigm. They underestimate us "little folk" breaking free.

I'm unplugging from it more and more these days. Going within for balance and holding to the center.

Aren't any answers "out there". And I'd like to see what's on the other side when this mess sorts itself out. Create a new and better world.

Adios Washington! Adios Disney! Adios parasites of human greed and misery!

    ;)

Hey beautiful friends, It is with some trepidation that I am choosing to share the most vulnerable article I've ever written below. It may change the way you see me, yet I ask as much as you can that you hold what I write with compassion. The topic is disturbing and inappropriate fantasies (mine included) and a call for help for those who are tormented by them. Please note that this article and the website on which it is posted are completely separate from my work with PEERS. May this essay serve to start what I believe is a very important and needed conversation.

Thanks, Fred. Very courageous of you. I'm not sure there are any "normal" orientations to sexuality anymore. And the isms don't help. Sexism, ageism, etc...

Also the repressive society we inherited from Victorian days causes many problems.

Wilhelm Reich studied orgone and how its exchange is free and easy with children. It's why we love them and are attracted to their energy, if we're not controlling or manipulative. They're how we used to be...

The "native Americans", I gathered, had over 240 different types of sexuality they honored or respected. WOW.

Anyway, if we had been allowed to grow up more freely and naturally and experiment and experience, things would be much different. As it is, too much is focused on SEX instead of energy.

No solutions here. But love and understanding. WE can be there for one another, but don't look to psychotherapy for answers.

Thanks for your wise words and support, Chris. And yes, there is so much focus on sex in our society, yet most of it is unhealthy. If we were all brought up in a sex positive environment, I suspect we'd live in a much more kind and gentle world. Take care.

Ideas... Events... People. I'm an IDEAS guy, for sure. But I do get caught up in the circus spectacle! Barely.

Now I'm losing my marbles cause of people that spend too much time on google earth.

TARTARIA. GIANTS. GLOBAL CATACLYSMIC RESHAPING CIRCA 1812. THE TAKEOVER.

JC on a popsicle stick. It's CRAZY. Looks like our long lost sibling Nibiru and our genetic jailors visited a couple hundred years ago and changed things up a bit.

REALLY gets me intrigued as to WHY. Are we really that powerful that ALL of these methods need employed? WOW. We're holding out on the universe. Time to ENGAGE.

I'm going exploring north a few hours this summer. See what happened to this great inland sea that spilled out all over and helped fuel the gold frenzy. Dig up some truth about our situation...

It IS, fo sho. And I reckon the wave of ennui is about to topple. Self-responsibility and personal accountability will be the coin of the realm when the other farces collapse under their own inequity.

Probably why the FEW fade away and disappear, because the MANY hold the "reality" in check. But, exponentially failing more every day, because everyone IS inherently different. Politics, religion, sociology FAIL for that reason. It may be the saving grace in the face of the dominant paradigm. SYSTEM FAILURE. "Shooting" for the GLOBAL FAMILY culture! Freedom of personal expression for EVERYBODY! Whoo, baby!

    Gonna be WEIRD. I hope...

Here I am. Talking to my self...

Wanted to share from Her-Bak Egyptian Intitiate by Isha Schwaller de Lubicz about the PHOENIX.

    The Benu-Phoenix...

According to Gardiner, the benu is a member of the same species as the heron "shenty"- that is, the Ardea cinerea or the Ardea purporea. Actually, the roles given to the benu are mythical, and a particular species cannot be assigned to them. An example is the phoenix, which according to the hermetic legend, burns on a funeral pyre in order to be reborn from its ashes.

The Egyptians connect the Venus of the morning with the benu, the bird bearing the soul of Osiris. Herodotus spoke of this fabulous bird under the name of phoenix. He says that he saw only a painting of it: In form and size it resembled an eagle, and its feathers were red and gold. Herodotus relates that according to a legend of Heliopolis, the phoenix came to Egypt from Arabia every five hundred years when its father's time came to die; it wrapped the body in an egg of myrrh and carried it to Egypt to place it in the temple of the Sun.

Just sharing cause I've had lots of herons showing up lately in books and readings. Plus the obvious and shadowy EXCITEMENT around THAT part of the world! Not about oil! Not about religion! What IS it about?... Hmmm...

    BLOOD and FIRE.

    It's gettin hot in here!...
