Hi everyone, 

 

I've been away for a while, but I just remembered this place and realized it may just be what I need right now.

 

I'm planning on leaving society mid November. What I mean by that is i am looking for a community to live in and be a part of that is not a part of society in any way for a minimum of six months.

We are here for a greater reason. When we choose to remember this, it is much easier to keep things in perspective. The more we remember the bigger picture, the easier it is to make choices in life which serve us and all around us.

    I believe it's about love and in my case, learning to remember to come from love and not from fear. A series of circumstances are making me wake the hell up-lol. I'm learning to not let fear stop me and fear has been crushing my soul for a long time. The spiritual leader I'm listening to right now pointed out that westerners are facing two serious problems with their spirit. First, Boredom and tiredness. Mentally rejecting life is boredom and physically rejecting life is tiredness. Boredom: the mind (ego) when it is strong, wants you to believe everything is the same-a faulty generalization of all things. Nothing inspires, nothing tastes good or feels good. Watch the video if you wish. I find him very insiteful. Cheers

    Yes, Brian. For me, too, it's all about remembering to come from love and not fear. I'm glad to hear the universe is giving you good reminders to support you in that. The video didn't grab me, but I'm glad this spiritual teacher speaks in a way that touches and inspires you.

This morning, I had the clearest and most elaborate dream in quite a while.

I was at a [dance] party or gathering at a big old house on the outskirts or edge of some city/town. It was me and a bunch of others enjoying one another's company, celebrating something.

    Only you can understand that one I guess. There is a potent message in it for something you were going through or very concerned with, maybe in your private life and about an aspect of your personality rather than a group? It sounds like a message about your perception of being restrained by your adherence to societal norms or some such stuff. From other posts you've written I gather you're very much about freedom.

There is a movie by Oliver Stone on Netflix now called Thintrace about powerful software that would have prevented 9/11 but was cancelled a month before. I hadn't heard about this before. It's chilling thinking about how it really was a conspiracy within the highest levels of our government to bring mass murder by terror attacks against us. I'm sure this movie won't be available for very long...

    OOPS! It's actually called "A Good American" and it's extremely interesting and revealing not to mention infuriating. It has the power to bring people to the truth about 9/11 who have previously not been willing or able to go there. I imagine Stone takes a real risk in creating this and it took guts for the former NSA people involved to come forward to tell the story.

Perhaps we might benefit from moving past, simply declaring our fears, warnings and condemnation concerning technology (as well as other untrusted and expanding human awareness, ideas and concerns) towards perceiving and developing positive discussion, direction and uses for the these, I believe, inevitable advancements, which will be delayed only by the time involved in the resistance and pessimism of fear. Condemnation and unyielding mistrust do not benefit or improve anything.

    Reminds me of the idiot who put his RV on cruise control and then joined his family on the sofa. I think they put warning labels in RVs now to prevent such mishaps.

    Interesting Todd, thank you. The possible scenario's must be limitless. The imagination should be as free. To get past the fear of f****ng up into Doomsday and cipher something new that is a lot more interesting and fun. I find it hard to imagine well these days

    Yes I get that Gary, I have a wee Grandson he's turning 3 this month, his imagination has helped reawaken mine. LMAO I'm playing with Lego kits again, haven't touched one of them since I was 8...maybe....10. Ahhh!!!!! young again, inside and in mind anyways ;)


    By the way, right after posting "The Elephant.........." I watched a movie called "The Ghost in the Shell" awesome movie, and the start of a new franchise I'm thinking.....???
